My husband has resided in the Memory Care Unit of Northshore Heights for over two years now. While providing care for Alzheimer's patients is a constant challenge, this facility does a wonderful job of providing a safe and stimulating environment for its residents. The caretakers and various staff members treat every person with respect and consistently work hard to make the patients' lives as happy as possible. Northshore Heights truly has created a family environment and become a home away from home for my husband. I am very thankful for their dedication and hard work.

As the owner of the home care company Right at Home, I knew I would find a need one day for assisted living for my father who has dementia. Over my 10 years in the senior industry, I toured, listened intently as others spoke about assisted living communities in Knoxville. I found some communities I thought my dad would enjoy, but at the time I needed it, fortunately one of my top favorites became available, Northshore Heights. Dad was welcomed with open arms and the staff made him feel like family. Dad's quite a humorous and outgoing guy and the staff and residents embraced his witty sense of humor. Even the residents looked out for him and addressed any concerns with me. His dementia progressed rapidly in 2024 and 2025 and dad was moved to memory care. I resisted the idea in theory, but knew it was time. I believed he would be quite dissatisfied with memory care, but was pleasantly surprised that he enjoyed the extra attention. The residents are seated in the dining area throughout the day where they are watched closely, experience lots of interaction and engagement and never feel lonely because they are around each other, as a family would be. Thank you Northshore Heights for making my dad's stay in Northshore Heights such a warm and inviting one. You're always in my heart and always part of my referral portfolio.

Wonderful employees. —-always helpful and kind. Pleasant atmosphere out on porch and inside,,,great activities to keep us busy with lots of fun!

The facility is beautiful, the administrative team is responsive to concerns and listens and makes changes to improve the quality of care when needed. Most importantly, the Northshore caregivers are hard-working, personable, and sincerely care about the residents. They strive to provide top-quality care for the residents and offer family members support, encouragement and reassurance regarding their loved ones.
