I was really hoping to be able to give this property a five star review. Due to deceptive practices and flat out lies that targeted an elderly friend of mine this past week, I would love to leave a zero star review. Local staff were completely unhelpful as was corporate staff in Dallas. It definitely felt like a bait and switch situation. Shame on this new 12 Oaks management group for not doing the right thing for the senior citizens they claim to care so much about. Beware!

Like many senior housing communities, we periodically review and update our application policies to ensure they remain consistent, responsible, and equitable for all prospective residents. These are shared openly and with great sensitivity when working with those considering a move to our community, including that of your friend. We understand how unexpected changes can lead some to frustration. But we respectfully disagree with the suggestion that anyone was intentionally misled and are disappointed to read statements suggesting that our community or any member of our team acted dishonestly, as they do not reflect our values or our approach to serving the seniors we compassionately care for every day.
