He has truly been the best leader this facility has had in a long time. ​Mr. C is a man of high character who genuinely cares for the staff and, above all, the residents. His dedication is undeniable—my brother looks forward to his daily visit from Mr. C at 6:30 AM every single morning. In a short time, he has completely transformed the culture of the facility for the better. ​Leaders like Mr. C are rare. He is making a real difference in the lives of the residents every day, and I strongly urge you to keep him at Nans.

Worst place I have ever seen. Filthy roaches everywhere. Place looks like it hasn't been cleaned in 15 years! It's disgusting! Roommate pours his pee down the shared sink. Patients are left in soiled diapers and waiting on medication forever! God help everyone stuck in this hole!

My mother was in this facility for 20 days after back surgery to get some rehab that was a joke my mother got two infections in this place her wound didn't heal the best like it should have because they didn't cleaned it at all like it was supposed to be done by wound care who would show up when they wanted to. I was told that the director of Physical Therapy watched my mother sit in a wheelchair for 7 hours knowing full and well she was never supposed to do that and he did nothing. I will also say that there is nurse that is not a RN and repeat not a RN that was going to try and put a central line in my mother shoulder the night before she left this same nurse I was told by other staff members if she didn't like you she would fake notes in your charts to get removed from this place. I was told by one of the PA that if the doctor sends out orders they don't worry about them they do there own thing. I complained about the care she was getting which was the worse thing I could have done while she was there cause boy did she get the short end of the stick (saying it nicely). This place is a joke I did meet a few great nurses there and I made sure to thank them personally. The day I checked my mother out of there the director of nursing and a staff member put the head of the bed to the floor and left her feet in the air and told her to get up and they didn't even want to help her. Please don't believe the reviews from Sentara saying this place is 4 star because the good Lord knows if any of these people had there family in a place like this they wouldn't like the treatment they would receive for there family member. This place needs so much work from the staff to the administration. I wish I would never had put my mother in this place it slowed here treatment down by 20 days. Please I beg you if you love your family member get them out of this place and put them somewhere they are treated with respect. If I could put pictures to show the treatment I would post in a heartbeat. Check your rooms before your love one gets there cause they left a potty chair in the room for 2 days with piss in it. Please don't send your loved ones to this place long or short term care. One star is to good for this place.

DO NOT GO HERE! Needs training. Left alone for hours. These good ratings are not true. Pathetic.
