Carefriends are great but need help. They put your loved one on the toilet and then leave to help someone else leaving your family member alone. Not safe. Your loved one can even lose 10 to 15 pounds in one month before they contact the visiting doctor. With the amount they charge per month they could pay an R.N. to be on staff to assist the LPN's. When their busy feeding residents at mealtime one resident would get up and was seen peeing in another residents sink right at the door. Or peeing at the door where you come in. Management should come out of their office and help keep an eye out while the carefriends are busy feeding residents. When you tell management about something they say they will take care of it, and it never gets done. When you leave sometimes it takes a lot of time to find someone to let you out because their busy. On paper they show their well-staffed but when are they at certain times. Please put your loved one in a place where money is not their main concern. If you leave incontinence supplies for a certain resident and management is there, they say they will take care of it and then put it in a storage room to sell to anyone else to make the company more money. We then went to the storage room with the help of a worker got it and put it in the room of the person we wanted it to go to. If your loved one passes away mid-month they hurry and rent the room out and don't return any money you paid for the entire month. Getting double the amount for that room for the rest of the month. Anything to make more money. I was even asked to watch the residents by a worker while the only one working at that time went out on the patio with one of the residents. I'm glad no one fell. I noticed there are more than 10 reviews with a 4 or 5 star at the same time to keep the star rating up but very few write a review. They care more about making money than your loved one. They act like they would like to help you with your loved one, but they really like your money. They want the rooms rented at all times. It's a business first. Your loved one is second to their profit. Worst management team I have ever seen. If I had to do it again, I would have never picked this place. Your loved one deserves better.

I have a good friend here now. I’m encouraging his guardian to find an another assisted living/memory care community. Here, the memory care floors do NOT have enough staff to properly supervise and care for the residents. It’s not unusual to find a resident in an elevator alone. Twice I was entering an elevator and a resident was in there with the doors closed.. not knowing what to do. Smh. While a few staff are very attentive and do their job. Some sit in the ‘med room’ in the dark and use their cell phone when they should be ON THE FLOOR supervising and paying attention to the residents there. NONE of these residents should ever be left unsupervised while awake (I say this because the staff are suppose to ‘check’ on residents every 2 hours.. say if they are in their room sleeping etc..). Especially because in memory care most of the residents don’t know where they are, let alone who they are. On the 2nd floor There is an elderly man who wanders into all the other residents rooms and urinates on the floors. That is UNACCEPTABLE! The staff should always be supervising the residents. Not to mention this man could get hurt left alone (since he doesn’t know what he’s doing). He defines should be supervised at all times. I would not recommend this place to friends or family.

I wish I could give more stars. My grandfather is currently in the active dying phase and I almost cried seeing how much the workers love him. In his time here, my grandpa made friends with other residents AND the workers. It was actually a home. I can't recommend this place enough, and I can only pray this place is still open when I'm old.

My whole family was very impressed with the cleanliness and great care afforded my mom. All of the staff was friendly and helpful and made the final days of my mother’s life the best that they could be! We will definitely be recommending this memory care home to anyone who needs a place for their loved one with dementia.
