MOUNTAIN VISTA OF OJAI

Every single person at Mountain Vista cared for my Mom as if she was a part of their family. In addition to making us all feel comforted by their love and care for our Mom during the later stages of life, our Mom received top notch support in all the areas of caring for the elderly. It has been a blessing to have Mom in their loving hands. Mom passed yesterday and I woke up with a grateful heart that she had us by her side and was in their loving hands as she transitioned with dignity and peace.

If they miss cleaning just one day, the hallway reeks really bad. Almost threw up visiting a friend. Save your money this place is average at best, they miss giving medications. Stay away. The Caregivers do not have the time to check in on the patients in their rooms. Oftentimes they walk in and the patient is lying on the floor. Two of the Caregivers were kind but they don't have the staffing to really take care of the residents.

I have had a great experience with Mountain Vista. My father was there for a couple years, now my mother is there. The staff is very caring and kind. Nicki and her family has the place running great. Its family owned and operated. Its not a corporate facility ran just for profit. They live there and are really attentive to the residents needs. I am glad I was able to find such a great place to help my parent when they really needed it.
