MORNINGSTAR OF ARVADA

Update: Visiting last week, it turns out they have very limited food options for non meat eaters. No fish, or seafood. No vegetarian entrees, only salad or flatbread pizza. I hope they will fix this. If they do I will upgrade the review. At this time vegetarians should avoid MorningStar. Staff is nice, building attractive, etc, but meals are a central feature of a place like this. UPDATE: Your response was not accurate. Move in was Jan 24. She met with chef 2 weeks ago. As of Feb 9, no fish, seafood or vegetarian entre (bean burger, veg lasagna, quesadilla, fresh broccoli, cauliflower) had appeared on the menu. Inquiring today if things have improved this week. Hoping for the best.

Once again I have to tip my hat to John Bachofer for putting on one of the classiest, best executed events I have ever attended in 15 year or so of Senior Living. No surprise...considering John B arranged it...but their team and their chef and David their ED made it truly special. Guests and residents alike enjoyed 5-star fare and a good time was had by all. Sending out a rousing round of applause for John and the whole team at MS Arvada...nicely done. (You all continue to spoil us.)

Finding a home for my Mom two years ago was very hard, I looked everywhere. Mom had the beginning stages of cognitive decline and so we chose the Assisted Living Care at MorningStar in Arvada. Eventually we moved Mom into the Memory Care apartments as her dementia became worse. I am so glad I chose MorningStar in Arvada. Had it not been for the amazing people there who helped guide me, I may never have had the chance to share a beautiful journey with my Mother. I wish someone had told me when I was first looking how important it would be to have a support system that would care for my Mom when her cognitive function and overall health declined. They truly were there every step of the way and remained dedicated to her care and well being. I am so grateful that I found them and thank them for the love and kindness they showed my Mother over the past two years. They are genuine, beautiful people caring for others.

My mother is in memory care here. Before moving her here, i toured many homes. I refer to MorningStar as the Cadillac of retirement communities. Worth the extra cost! Staff is friendly and loving towards my mom. Facility is clean and always smells good. Highly recommend!

I love my visiting my grandfather at Morning Star Arvada. I love seeing his new endeavors everyday. He's even picked up daily exercise habits. I am very impressed with the life enrichment team and all their strive to engage my grandfather. Lastly, chef Carla is top notch! Her homemade soup is out of this world!
