Morningstar Assisted Living of West San Jose

My in laws just moved in couple of months ago. They really like the place. Everyone there are super nice. Although not a lot of residents so far but all the service runs as normal. My in laws get the royal treatment. Food is good. They have three meals a day restaurant style. There’s a movie theatre playing movies they like. The other day we even watch with them “Gone with the wind” The nurses are super friendly and helpful. Front desk makes everyone feel welcome. The head chef tries his best to give the residents what they like. Fruits water and snacks even are readily available. There rooms are cleaned weekly, clothes washed and sheets changed. The other day we dropped a glass and they came immediately to clean it up. It’s ready a God sent. They have rides to church every Sunday. Saved us so much time. It’s a great place.

Another factor that makes MorningStar stand out is the variety and quality of the activities and programs that they offer to the residents. The activities are engaging, adapted to the interests of the residents, and fun. They include arts and crafts, music, games, fitness, gardening, outings, and more. The residents can choose to participate in as many or as few activities as they wish, and they can also suggest new ideas or hobbies that they want to pursue. The activities are designed to stimulate the residents' physical, mental, and social health, and to create a sense of community and belonging. Family members are also welcome to join the activities and to spend time with their loved ones. The location of MorningStar is also convenient and accessible. It is situated right off highway 85 and De Anza, where the cities of Cupertino, Saratoga, and West San Jose intersect. This makes it easy for family members and friends to visit the residents, and for the residents to enjoy the nearby restaurants, attractions and facilities. The community itself has a beautiful yet homey campus, with landscaped gardens, courtyards, Santa Cruz mountain views, and walking paths. The residents can enjoy the fresh air and the scenic views, or relax in the cozy and elegant common areas. The community also has a library, a salon, an open theater (not too dark), a bistro, and a dining room. MorningStar at West San Jose is a senior living community that I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a diverse and inclusive place where their beloved elders can thrive and enjoy their golden years. The fun and loving staff, the activities, the location, and the amenities are all excellent. My parents are very happy here, and I am grateful to the MorningStar team for their care and support.
