Morningside House of Friendship, LLC

My Mom lived in a Morningside House Of Friendship community which was located at 7548 Old Telegraph Road Hanover Md . I was called three times between December 2025 - January 2026 regarding my Mom falling each time I asked what happened I asked had her medicine change I was told no . I asked if a doctor could examine her to see why she was falling I was told that a doctor would see her and that I would receive a call once she was seen I never received an update regarding the doctor seeing her I called several times only to be told that they didn’t have any updates . Mom stated that she was sore and bruised from her falls I didn’t see her bruises because I live in GA . My mom wasn’t properly supervised . Because of the lack of supervision she is no longer there . We asked for a prorated refund due to her being there less than ninety days we felt this was fair to ask for the community fee of $4000.00 and $500.00 deposit we were sent a refund check only to be told that a stop payment had been placed on the check there was no communication prior to the stop payment we found out from our bank . Morningside House Of Friendship is ONLY interested in money they are NOT interested in the well being of patients . After my mom moved out they tried to take money from her bank account for the month of February she moved out on January 31, 2026 . Seniors depend on us for care and having their best interest at heart . Morningside House Of Friendship in Hanover Md does not have the patients best interest at heart . I spoke with Katlyn Giroux and Lisa Kemper regarding my mom’s situation there was no empathy their only concern was financial families need to be aware of this facility’s lack of supervision . My grandmother loves this place. She compares the food to a Michelin style restaurant. The staff are so friendly, and care for everyone there. Shoutout to the kitchen staff!!

My aunt stayed at Morningside Friendship a few years ago, and the experience left a lasting impression on our whole family. The environment was welcoming, friendly, and consistently courteous. Every staff member we interacted with made us feel comfortable and supported. The food was outstanding — delicious, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with care. We enjoyed every bite, and I especially appreciated the healthy options available for my aunt. It’s rare to find a place that balances great taste with thoughtful nutrition, but they truly delivered. Overall, Morningside Friendship provided a warm, caring atmosphere and excellent service. I’m grateful for the experience and would happily recommend it to others looking for a supportive and well‑run community.

Overall great atmosphere. My loved one loves the meals served. We were present for a special event and the food was out of this world. Catered to the theme and tasted awesome!

Morning side provided outstanding care for our aging mother. She spent 2 years with Morningside. First in their assisted living section eventually transitioning to memory care and with the assistance of hospice end of life care at Morningside. The entire staff, caregivers, administrators, housekeeping, ktichen are all top notch. Truly the most caring responsive group we could have imagined. We cannot thank them enough. If you are someone you know is seeking assited living care we highly recommend Morningside be your choice.
