This is a retirement community opperated by the Presbyterian Church. Presbyterian ministers and missionaries may qualify for reduced prices on residency here with enough years of service, but I believe they also accept applicants from the public as well. There may be a waiting list a few years long for Presbyterian ministers using their employee benefits to come here. So start talking to them well in advance. Get on waiting list if you want to have the option. They have three levels of residency: independat, (duplexes), assisted living, and nursing center. All residents, including independent, can get meals in the dining room.
Response from the owner
Thank you so much, David, for taking the time to provide insight about Monte Vista Grove Homes! We are proud to partner and care for the Presbyterian community and the public since 1924.

Always a great place to visit my Friends. Just visited The Ranch, Monta Vista Grove Home's newest addition to their continuum care, a special care unit for persons with memory loss.
