Millcroft Assisted Living

Sorry I am a little late. "Better late than never," as they say. My brother DRK was brought here a few weeks ago. I visited on a regular basis 2 times a week. I found Milcroft Rehab in Newark, DE. one of the nicest rehab facilities I have ever been in. Clean from the entrance all the way through the areas I viewed. I usually spent 3-4 hours. My brother wasn't the perfect patient, he didn't want to be there. However, he needed to be. From the receptionist, to the nurses station, to the doctors, nurses, and those who served in many other capacities, I woukd like to say, WELL DONE! You were attentive, helpful, friendly. I know no place is perfect. If he ever has to come back again, I will be right there rooting you all on. Remember kindness matters, it's always good to be thankful. THANK YOU MILCROFT REHABILITATION CENTER, YOU ARE APPRECIATED!

Great therapy team. Very caring nurses and staff. Love being outside on the patio in the sunshine.

Update 7/21/26 Still received no call from any facility manager. I filed a report with the decision of long term care. They are helping to cover up the abuse at the facility. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAIMLY TO THIS HELL HOLE Update 6/7/26 They asked me to call, I left my number for the facility district manager to call me. Its been a week and still nothing. They do not care about your loved ones. They are just trying to get the bad reviews removed. Edit- they are trying to delete and hide bad reviews across social media. This place os sick, they are trying to hide abuse and neglect of residents and rehab clients. Do not take your faimly here. My mom was in the rehab facility for only 5ish days. They shut off her call bell and ignored her. Shes unable to walk, they put her in an adult diaper. They left her in the soiled diaper for 12 hours at one point. They also kept shutting off and turning down her oxygen. They never did any of her blood work and in the five days she had 10 minutes of physical therapy. I went in to confront the workers after I found out. They were dismissive and some of them even laughed about it. One worker stood down the hall flipping me off. I had to call 911 to have an ambulance come get my mom out of the facility. This facility is absolutely trash and every worker in the rehab facility tonight and yesterday should be fired.

Our Mother moved in the Independent living and loved this place. Great activities, transportation availability and amazing staff. Sadly she passed away after 6 months. We (5 children) collectively cannot say enough GREAT things about this place and the staff. Engaged, polite and very helpful to whatever we needed. We highly recommend it!

Lack of attention to patient hygiene should get this place banned from ever caring for the elderly. My 92 year old father left by ambulance and was admitted to the hospital in critical condition with sepsis from a shamefully cared for foley catheter.
