I visited a number of retirement facilities around south Charlotte and Providence Rd areas and when I toured MerryWood on Park I knew this was the place for my sister. It is bright, clean, updated apartments, many activities, and the personnel are the friendliest, cheerful, and most helpful I have ever seen!

I previously lived in this community and have many fond memories of my time here. I returned to visit friends for lunch and an afternoon of Mahjong, and it was wonderful to be back. The warm, welcoming atmosphere that I remembered is still here, and it was great to see familiar faces and reconnect with friends. The community is well-maintained, the staff is caring and friendly, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. My visit reminded me why I enjoyed living there so much. I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a friendly and supportive independent or assisted living environment.

As we considered a move into an independent living community for my mom, we visited multiple properties. None of them stood out like MerryWood on Park. Simply put, there is a vibrancy and true sense of community that is welcoming, inclusive, and inspiring. My mom moved to MerryWood on Park a few months ago and has just blossomed. She is taking advantage of many offerings within and outside the community. She is happy, engaged, and feels safe. We knew we made the right decision the day we signed the lease, but seeing my mom thriving confirms that belief.

We visited my father-in-law today and what a lovely place. He moved out from Los Angeles so Merrywood on Park had serious standards to live up to - and boy did they deliver. It’s so clean and welcoming from the front entrance and throughout.
