My Dad and Mom have exemplary care at Mercy McMahon Terrace. The people that work here are compassionate and kind. Michael the chaplain is a wonderful man, and Sam has gone way beyond what we could ever expect in genuine loving care. It is a very special place.

Mercy McMahon Terrace (MMT) is a wonderful senior living facility. My parents have been residents for a year, and we continue to be impressed by the care they receive. The caregivers are consistently empathetic, attentive, and kind. On several occasions during my visits, staff members have stopped by to check in on my parents as their shifts were ending — an extraordinary gesture that speaks volumes about their dedication. This level of care is especially meaningful to us, as their previous facility was often negligent and inconsistent. MMT is a care-forward community. The CEO/Executive Director is an outstanding leader—responsive, compassionate, and genuinely engaged. His weekly email updates are both informative and helpful, even including the average response time (which is consistently under five minutes). He leads by example, and his team follows suit. From leadership to frontline staff, everyone we encounter is courteous, helpful, and very responsive. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming, with a comfortable, homey atmosphere. As a Catholic family, having the opportunity for Mass and Communion onsite has been especially important and meaningful for my parents. We also greatly appreciate the thoughtful holiday and special occasion meals, which are always beautifully prepared with festive décor, good food, and warm hospitality. We are deeply grateful for the care, attention, and heart that MMT provides, and we wholeheartedly recommend it.

A very dear friend has been a resident here for 5 plus years. I can not say enough about all the warm caring staff. I have recommended Mercy McMahon Terrace to many and feel very fortunate to have found such a wonderful place for my friend.

My aunt lived at Mercy McMahon Terrace for nearly twenty years, moving from independent living to assisted living and, ultimately Memory Care. At each level she received absolutely quality care, affirming her presence and, ultimately, I believe, extending her life during its high-quality phases. A finer, more supportive facility cannot be found.

When it’s time for your parent or parents to get more help then you can give them it’s a very challenging issue. My family wanted to make sure our mom was in a wonderful place that we would be assured of exceptional care. We found that place at Mercy McMahon Terrace. It was a real adjustment for our mom at first because she had to leave her home and routine that she had had for many years. It was actually scary for her and for us. We transitioned her by visiting regularly, just like we did before she moved into MMT. They were wonderful at getting her adjusted to her new living quarters and new routine. She has been a resident there since February of 2014 and we are very pleased to say that at 97 ( she’ll be 98 in June) she is flourishing and is very happy. She loves the staff, especially Odessa, the residents and the facility. It has been such a blessing to our family to have found a place so wonderful for our mom. She so deserved a place like MMT after raising nine children. As a mater of fact, many of us say we want to go to MMT when our time comes that we need extra help to maneuver through our golden years. Many residents there live into their 100’s and we are counting on that for our mom. I highly recommend MMT. Sincerely, Joel Frierson
