I wanted to share my experience with The Meadows, where my mom has been living for the past nine months. I couldn’t be happier with how everything has unfolded. From the very beginning, the process was seamless. Touring the community with the amazing staff members Jen and Barb was a great experience. The move-in process was made even smoother by the wonderful care staff. Additionally, Lijo, the owner, was fantastic in ensuring everything went smoothly throughout. The community itself is warm and welcoming, with kind and friendly residents who have truly helped my mom feel at home. The food is top-notch, thoughtfully catered to the elderly, and there is always a variety of engaging activities available to keep everyone entertained. I highly recommend The Meadows to any senior looking for a vibrant and caring place to call home.

I wanted to take a moment to give a special shout-out to The Meadows ALF in Mt. Clemens. Lijo, Barb, and Jen do an amazing job ensuring their residents receive exceptional care. They have a dedicated team of caregivers who are readily available to assist residents 24/7. The Meadows offers home-cooked meals, private and semi-private rooms, on site physician/nurse practitioner services, skilled HomeCare services nursing, therapy, pharmacy services, and medication assistance. The building is also very secure, with staff managing all entries and exits. The building itself is bright, comfortable, and truly feels like home, with an additional beautiful enclosed patio space that includes a garden and fountain.

The staff was kind enough but this place just looks at it's residents as dollar signs. My Auntie passed away on a Thursday morning. We had paid for her room through the following Wednesday and when we went the Monday before that to clear out her belonging, they had packed her things up and had someone else living there. When I say packed up they had thrown her things into garbage bag breaking things. No one told us they had packed her things up, we found it when we got to her room and someone else was living there. It took them almost an hour just to locate her belongings when we arrived as they were strewn about in different storage rooms. It is unacceptable to touch someone's things that had just passed away. Be aware if you put your loved ones here.

We are so pleased that we found an excellent place for Mom to live in her later years. The staff is kind, helpful and interactive. She is always clean and well fed. Madison the activities coordinator helps keep her mind and body challenged with fun games and crafts. I think one of the biggest advantages of this place is it’s not so big. She spends most of her time in the common areas of the living room and dining area with the same people daily. I think that helps with dementia to make her feel more comfortable. She has made friends. She says she’s happy. If she is happy as her daughter I am happy.

Meadows Assisted Living & Memory Care has been God sent. The Owner, Director, RN - Community Liason, Medical professionals, Caregivers, Chefs, Environmental services & their entire staff are a cohesive hard working team, caring for my Mother. I’m beyond grateful for their daily communication & availability. It’s extremely comforting & appreciated. They are 100% here for my Mother & me ! It’s a daunting journey to have your loved one moved into a facility. They have been a complete blessing. They handle all the logistics & overwhelming details. The transition was smooth & personal. We felt welcomed & part of the Meadows family immediately. Meadows works with Total Care Physicians & Henry Ford Hospital 19 mile Rd Clinton Twp. MI. 48038. It’s extremely important to have trust in the professionals & facility that are caring for your loved one. I trust them with my Mother. ♥️🙏🏼 They have worked diligently to get her medications regulated so she would finally be stable. Their diligence definitely shows through my Loving Mother daily. I’m beyond Grateful. All her Caregivers are hands on respectful, considerate, compassionate, very patient & support my Mom. My Mother has Alzheimer’s & dementia. I understand & see the difficulties & hard work they put in with her. They have made a complete difference in the quality of her life & mine.♥️ They even send photos & updates when I’m not there with her. A wonderful comfort & joy for me. Honestly, it’s all been a complete Miracle, 🥹 Because of Meadows I'm able to share quality time with my Mother. I honestly never thought this was going to be a possibility. 💛 I give thanks to God for all of you.🙏🏼 Meadows hard work & compassion are making my last moments into treasured memories with my mother a complete blessing. Forever Grateful, Nicole Amormino
