My mother was born in Clinton and lived here all her life. When my dad passed away, she was no longer able to stay at home safely, and following a fall situation that required hospitalization, my wife found Meadowview. Mom had said she didn't want to leave her hometown, Meadowview was a perfect fit for her. She immediately made friends, and also connected with old friends now living there. The staff is so thoughtful and engaged, and she is busy doing activities, all through out the day, everyday...bingo, hangman, singing, hymns, bible studies, painting, crafts, church group visits, regular onsite Dr. visits from Ms Wendy, field trips in the MV Bus to Cades Cove, Bijou Theater, various restaurants, movie time, etc....such a thriving center of activities! We could be know happier for her and appreciate what Pam, Kelly, and the rest of the staff do to make MV a happy home!

I had an 11 o'clock appointment for a tour on a Saturday. No one set up to meet me or provide the tour. The place was empty when I entered the front door, and while the Director's office was right there( and she saw me) , it wasn't until I'd been waiting about 5 minutes, and I actually approached her door, that she reached to find someone to help me. It turned out to be a nurse(nice person, but clearly not used to doing tours) that I got to see a room. 1 minute later I was brought back up to the desk and handed a "packet" by the nurse. (Basic, but very sparse information). No one actually talked to me, I saw no residents, no activities taking place(again...Saturday @ 11 am). Complete waste of time and effort.

My aunt became unable to live alone. She decided to move to a senior assisted living community. In 2020 She chose Meadowview. She was cared for by a very caring and loving staff. Her quality of life was extened until until her passing in November 24. She made many friends with residents and staff members. All who came to be part of her extended family. Her room was always clean and her personal needs were met. She was treated with respect . The staff were friendly and easy to work with. She felt loved and cared for as well as feeling safe. I am so thankful for all that was done for her in the 4 years she was there. Thank you Meadowview family for taking good care of her and helping me when needed.
