Mccrite Retirement Assisted Living

My mother stays at this facility, and our experience was extremely disappointing. The neglect was unacceptable. Although she had regular PCP visits, she was hospitalized multiple times for issues that was identified by outside providers—not the facility. Her clothing was frequently left unwashed, and I found urine-soaked sheets and clothes sitting in her cabinet for weeks, even after requesting they be cleaned. While a few staff members were caring, others were impatient, dismissive, and lacked compassion. Poor communication and a lack of knowledge also nearly caused her to lose essential discharge services. She almost missed an appointment because the staff did not wake her up despite the appointment being in the system. Families trust facilities like this to provide safe, attentive care and help with a smooth transition—not create additional hardship. Based on our experience, I would proceed with caution utilizing any of their services.

There isn't anywhere I would rather have my beloved family. They absolutely love the new administration and staff that have recently taken over in the last month. They do a remarkable job and have made a huge difference in their lives there. I couldn't recommend Heritage Groves Estates more!
