This place is very dangerous. My mother has been trapped there against her will. The facility has covered up very serious falls with injuries. My mom is being medicated to death. Some doctor or medical professional is behind the negligence and this provider is covering for the abuse being done by several dangerous frauds at this place. Stay tuned for more. Don’t ever bring your loved ones to this place. It is extremely dangerous! This place needs to be shut down.

The staff is amazing, very responsive, kind, attentive. No complaints. The condition of the double rooms in assisted living are disgusting. My mom arrived, there were ants, crumbs all over the floor. The solution was ants traps on the floor. The room next door was empty and they offered to move her, which was kind; however, there were crumbs, bugs, cobwebs. It did not appear the floot was clean or sanitized. The double rooms have each bed pushed against each wall. Very difficult to maneuver a wheelchair, when both occupants require one. The carpet is worn down. Dining room, is dirty. My deepest concerns is the condition and cleanliness for patients. My mom called me sobbing. Environmental Services is not keeping this facility up to standards at all.

This nursing home needs to be investigated by the federal government for crimes against patients. They neglect and mistreat patients. My father was here in hospice and they let him sit in his dirty diapers for hours alone, they ignore the nurse call button when rung and don’t check if patients who can’t use their hands anymore if they need a sip of water or any help with anything for multiple hours. When my family members made a complaint the nursing staff became very rude to my whole family for advocating for our soon to pass loved one. I can’t believe the staff here gets away with such horrible and cruel acts against sick elderly people. Disgusting don’t let your family come here.
Response from the owner
We take concerns about dignity, responsiveness, and communication very seriously, especially for individuals receiving hospice care. What you described does not reflect the experience we want for residents or families. Our leadership team would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly, review these concerns thoroughly, and better understand what occurred. Please contact our administrator so we can follow up appropriately.

I was admitted to Martin Luther Care Center from Aurora in February of this year (2026) for wound care (I'm still here). When a nurse takes our meal orders, they sometimes ask us what we want and sometimes they just GUESS what we want and order FOR US, which I think is unacceptable. I've gotten food that I didn't WANT because I was never asked. I ate it because I didn't want to wait. There is a sign posted by the kitchen area mentioning meal orders but it seems to be ignored sometimes. As for temperature of the food, it could be warmer or cooked longer. For instance, the baby carrots were hard, the hamburger was luke warm & not very hot), the fries were barely cooked (soggy).

Adult day care for my husband has been a heart warming experience. Enrichment activities he enjoys and a friendly, caring staff.
