This is the worst place to have anyone go!! They don't care about the residents their health nothing. They give medication late they don't clean the rooms they ignore the patients when the call light comes on. They are rude!!! I sat there waiting for paperwork and watched how the 6-7 staff stood behind the work station laughing joking while another lady in a wheel chair was coughing non stop spitting stuff up while another lady in a wheel chair had to help her and get her tissue. I told staff and they said ohh okay thanks and still walked away. I had to tell them many times to wash my brother up change his bedding etc. This place needs to be shut down and they all need to stop working in this field.

April, it truly breaks our heart to hear about your experience with us. Staff staff truly care deeply for the residents they serve, but we can always use a reminder what others are experiencing while in our building. We have brought your experience to the leadership team to show an example of how we can strive to our goals of exceeding the expectations of all that cross our threshold. If you would like to discuss anything further, please reach out to our leadership team.

The treatment of patients here is downright horrifying. Please do not send anyone you care about to this facility. It needs to be closed down!!!!! The patient neglect is petrifying. The staff is horrific, and no one has done anything about it. They just let these people rot in one of the worst, most horribly smelling, disgusting dirty facilities I’ve ever entered. Please do not be fooled by the first floor!! Which is still not great with the second and third are truly shocking terrible like a dungeon!!!!!

WARNING — If you love someone, please do everything in your power to avoid having them sent here. I almost never write negative reviews, but our experience was so upsetting that I feel obligated to share it. I would hate for another patient, especially someone who doesn’t have family there to advocate for them, to experience what my dad did. My dad stayed here for approximately a week while waiting for back surgery. He was unable to walk and was in significant pain, which meant he was completely dependent on the staff for his basic needs and care. During his first two days, he was served only two meals total. He was simply forgotten during the other meal times. There was also a specific medication he needed prior to surgery that was not given to him. We later found the written prescription sitting inside his book, despite it being something that was supposed to have been reviewed and addressed by the nursing staff. Even more disturbing were the numerous times his call light went unanswered while he lay in bed in extreme pain, including overnight. At one point, he had soiled his bed and was left that way despite a call being placed to the nurses’ station. I don’t know whether this is the result of severe understaffing or something else, but the level of care we witnessed was heartbreaking and, in my opinion, completely unacceptable for people who are vulnerable and dependent on others for their basic needs. If I had unlimited funds, I would use them to help every person in that building get somewhere they could receive the care and dignity they deserve. What breaks my heart the most is thinking about the patients there who don’t have family members constantly checking on them, asking questions, and speaking up when something isn’t right. My dad had people advocating for him, and these things still happened. Please, if someone you love is being considered for placement here, advocate for them and consider other options. No family should have to wonder whether their loved one is being fed, receiving necessary medication, having their call light answered, or being kept clean and cared for.

My Son and I visited my Aunt on Sunday. We couldn’t believe how bad this place is! When we first arrived, there were two people at the furthest desk, talking. They didn’t bother acknowledging us at all. We had to go stand right in front of them to finally be acknowledged. When I told them we were there to see my aunt (gave them her name), the female didn’t even know who she was and asked twice for who??? I told them my aunt’s room number and the male said, oh yeah, she’s down that way- and pointed to the hallway where her room would be. Didn’t bother to escort us there, or give any type of name tags, badges, etc. to us. My aunt is a fall risk. She told us that she had to wait for over an hour when she put her nurse call button on! She also needed more toilet paper and sanitary pads. After waiting over an hour, a nurse came to tell her they were out of toilet paper and couldn’t find any sanitary pads! And then left right away! Didn’t tell my aunt that they would try to get some or. Anything. What kind of facility such as this, would do that? This is totally wrong and unacceptable! I happen to use the restroom in my aunt’s room and was disgusted. The floor in there looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or mopped for days. There was debri on the floor that should have been cleaned up. There was a medical glove laying on the floor. And the garbage can was plump full. I have seen rest stop bathrooms cleaner than this one!! This place and the workers need to be investigated! It’s totally unacceptable to be running a medical rehab facility under these conditions. Sad, very sad.

this place needs to be seriously investigated. I went to see my great Aunt with my mom here today and what my aunt told me and her made my stomach turn. Immediately when me and my mom got in the door, Nobody addressed us at all, we had to physically go up to the front desk for them to acknowledge our existence. When we got to the front desk and asked for my great aunts name, the female nurse and the male nurse had no idea who we were talking about. When we finally got to my great Aunt's room she told me and my mom that the nurse took over an hour and a half to acknowledge my great aunts call Light. When my mom use the restroom in my great aunts room, she told me that it was dirty and the garbage was completly full. they do not even clean the patients rooms AT ALL. DO NOT SEND FAMILY MEMBERS HERE!!! not to mention, my great Aunt is a fall risk, and I will be reporting this facility and any other facilities to the Minnesota adult protective services!!! as a former nursing aid for Mayo Clinic, this is Unbelievably unacceptable!!!
