Maple Wood Assisted Living is a small, family-owned assisted living home run by JoAnn and Jake Isaksen for nearly a decade. The facility specializes in dementia and Alzheimer's care, but also serves residents with Parkinson's, stroke recovery, and elderly care. With two homes each housing 16 residents and owners living on-site, the community emphasizes personalized, compassionate care in a home-like environment.

Our mom was well taken care of at Maple Wood by the staff and management. Maple Wood is more life a family home environment than an assisted living environment. Both the residents and the staff were very welcoming from day one. I highly recommend Maple Wood Assisted Living.

I want to share the wonderful experience that Maple Wood has been providing to my mother and late father. The family owned homes are operated in such a way that they feel more like a real home and not a care facility. The staff is very pleasant, patient and provide a loving environment for all the residence. The owners Jake and Joann ensure the staff follow Christian loving principles. My mother actually stated the food is very good. This is highly unusual for my mother to complement anything or anyone. My parents were both in other care facilities and they were poorly ran and indifferent to their patients. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Maple Wood!!!

At MW there is no of personal assistance. If you are not in very good physical health there is not a place for you at MW. I walked in with my walker and left on a stretcher. My hand was caught in the elevator doors causing nerve pain to this day. No one apologized or even wrote an incident report. Worse than that was seeing other residents do the same thing. and blame themselves!
