Mangrove Bay

It has felt like home to me. I looked at other places and they just didn’t have that homey feeling. The way staff and residents get along together is something special.

This place is beautiful.

Outrageous prices and not following through on services promised in Assisted Living.(Let me qualify this by saying 'by the Weekend Crew')

I cannot say enough good things about Mangrove Bay. It is fabulous! I looked at over a dozen facilities before moving my parents to Mangrove Bay and it was by far the nicest, cleanest, and friendliest that I visited. It is like a five star resort. It is so nice my wife and I would move in now if we could! Moving my parents into a facility was particularly difficult because my father’s dementia had not progressed as much as my mother’s dementia and he resisted vehemently. During this very difficult period the Mangrove Bay staff was amazingly understanding and patient despite his very angry and obstinate behavior. The staff knew when to push and when to give them space. Since moving in and enjoying the activities and outings both parents are now much happier and much more like their old selves. Although this terrible disease still causes us all so much heartbreak and not everyday is a good one, at least visits are now mostly full of laughter and smiles again. It is a relief to have them safe and as happy as we could hope for at this point thanks to the Mangrove Bay staff.

I was very impressed with how happy and friendly the residents and the employees were. The fact the staff have been there so long tells a lot. Smiles were every where. Also, the cleanness was very impressive.
