Poorly built homes, less than reasonable parking availability. Good place if you have a work from home job, but if you have to leave for work 5-7 days a week good luck getting your vehicle out of your garage if there is a curb access from your garage. Any communication with the office about parking is pointless and a waste of time.

Parking is a continuous problem. Other residents are more than welcome to park vehicles in front of our garage, while me and my roomates aren't even allowed to have vehicles parked anywhere but inside our garage. Numerous attempts to communicate with the office are met with vague "answers" that imply they aren't going to do anything but say that sucks when we are repeatedly late to work.

Edit: The amount of construction even on Sundays, asphalting, HOA improvements, motorcycles, loud trucks, parking that often blocks emergency vehicles, delivery trucks and garbage trucks from getting through makes this a less than ideal place to live. A lot of miserable people seem to be living in this and nearby neighborhoods, and unfortunately, they also strive to make others miserable. A lot of people allow their dogs to do what they want in other people's yards and too many of them fail to clean up after their dogs. The pool also has limited hours, and on some days, opens at 12 p.m. This Cadence neighborhood in Mesa AZ, otherwise, could be, with small other improvements, one of the best places in the state and maybe even in the country in which to live. Former review: It is absolutely beautifully landscaped, but people act as if they are renting out the whole complex when they reserve rooms at the clubhouse. Many residents act hostile towards their neighbors there.

This place is great. A wonderful little community close to a nice little airport in Mesa, Apache Junction and the Superstition Mountains, and I love visiting my aunt, cousins and grandma here. They have a fantastic community center, an elementary school, parks in every neighborhood, and its a comfortable place to go for a walk day or night.

Even with the HOA fees being high, I guess you can say it's worth it with the level of amenities available. The pool is very large, with 2 slides and a separate lap pool for swimming. There is a quality gym with machines and free weights for a good workout. We also have a "clubhouse" with video games, ping pong, and space to eat and watch television. I've seen plenty of activities in the clubhouse. There are 2 tennis courts, a basketball court and a large park with a section for a dog park. There are a lot of options to choose from.
