Magnolia Manor on the Coast

At Magnolia Manor, we came to experience something very special- not just a place where people live, but a community where people truly care for one another. During our visits, we were always greeted with warm hellos from the entire staff. During the late afternoon a group of six to eight residents would sit in the white rocking chairs at the front entrance taking advantage of what slight breeze may exist, telling stories and always offering a smile or a laugh with us, it felt like family. What stood out most was the way everyone looked after each other. When our mother was sick, one neighbor quietly stepped in to clean our mom's room when she wasn't feeling well. Other friends volunteered to drive her to chemo treatments and yet others each day at lunch agreed to eat her dessert (guys- you know who you are). This past Saturday, we celebrated our mom's Celebration of Life at Magnolia Manor. We would be remiss if we did not thank all of you for wrapping your arms around each of us and providing the love, compassion and care that helped ease our pain over the last weeks and months. You cared for us as if we were your family. We can't thank Chaplain Frank enough for his meaningful words during the service as well as during the days and weeks prior. God Bless the incredible Magnolia Manor team from Roxan the Administrator, to Nanci, Ali, Monica and all that were there for my mom and my family. You all will never be forgotten!

The great folks at Magnolia Manor provided my Mom a day tour to aid her in deciding whether to move to their facility. Not only did they roll-out the red carpet, the also hosted her 79th Birthday party! That day was more than enough for my Mom to make the decision to move into their fantastic facility!
