The care I received at Lynwood Manor was above and beyond anything I expected! Even when challenged by adversities by mother nature, the staff handled everyone with compassion and care. Will recommend to anyone and everyone in the future

Family member had brain injury and was sent here to recover. Somehow Lynwood listed him incorrectly as a "vegetable" and was not giving him rehabilitation as directed from neurosurgeon. Developed neuropathy from not being moving around enough because he slept from the surgery a lot and declined very much the year that followed it makes your body stiffen a have horrific pain when trying to move. Thought it was time to post a proper review since the Toledo neurosurgeon said he should have received proper rehab and been able to walk. Not confined to chair and health declined so much he passed away. Don't send your loved ones here. Even if everything else is full. That's what happened to our family. Also this was Covid and we were not allowed in the building for month and months to see him. We stood at his window but he couldn't see us.

Back in my day, a nursing home knew how to do things right. This place? Don’t get me started. I walked into Linwood Nursing Home and the first thing I noticed was the smell like overcooked cabbage fighting a losing battle with cleaning chemicals. I’ve smelled better air in a bowling alley in ’72. The TV was blasting some nonsense nobody asked for, the chairs were so uncomfortable they could straighten a hunchback, and the thermostat was clearly set by someone who enjoys watching others suffer. I asked a question and the response time was slower than my knees on a staircase. And the food? Let’s just say if this is what they’re serving, no wonder people lose their appetite with age. One star because I survived the visit and nobody stole my cane. Now get off my lawn and don’t send me back here.
