LYDELL RESIDENTIAL

This place is fancy. However housekeeping needs to be on their job as well as tenants. I was dropping off an order and there was eaten food on the floor in the hallway on the 4th floor. It's just disgusting to see that. Residents put their trash bags outside their door for pickup. If I'm doing a delivery do you think I want to see that?!?!

Beautiful community with lots of floor plans. Love the look and how clean the community looks. Office staff was very nice and showed me several apartments. I decided on this large two bedroom with amazing views. I love the idea of living so close to the mall. I can't wait to make this community my home in the next 3 weeks!

Everyone here is kind, considerate and very friendly. I know I have neighbors because I see them in passing but I’ve never heard excessive or loud noises from anyone near or above me in the building. I love that the common spaces have cameras for extra security, packages are always delivered safely and kept in a secure area, the amenities are almost never ending and have made my experience very comfortable and stress free. I wouldn’t live anywhere else!

The majority of the Staff are great. Respectful people and very kind. It is very clear they are trained on damage control given the asbestos issue in one of the buildings a few years ago. If you don’t mind paying $75 a month for a garage that works 20% of the time and seeing pee and poop throughout the halls and elevators this is the place for you. If you are planning on living on any of the west side facing buildings beware that plows and salt trucks park there during the Winter. Everyday at 4am there was loud noises. We had a leak in our tub which had caused mold behind one of our dressers. The Lydell claim that no damage was done and the unit was thoroughly checked. We were also charged a $140 cleaning fee due to there being about 4 crumbs left on our kitchen counter. I would not recommend living here. I can almost guarantee the apartment will comment and apologize that I feel this way and then go on to dispute everything that was claimed.

Beautiful apartment layouts. Yet to be such a new building I expected that window seals would last longer than a year! Theres cold air coming in thru the window seals.... causing the furnace to run longer & more often. There are cobwebs collecting dustmites in the garage. Right next to the exhaust fans. Surely maintenence workers are laxed at best. The elevator walls arent cleaned regularly. I feel the need to "mask" up just to enter. I expect better from a luxurious place as the Lydell. Oh and I must mention that there is a beautiful club center in the 2nd building that I was told I could use, yet my key fob doesnt work. So im unable to make use of it. Im dropping my rating from a 4 to a 3 star. Staff was made aware and has not addressed the issue. Never the less, apartments are spacious, contemporary with lots of cabinet space and features not found elsewhere.
