I would like to thank the Avista staff for the professional way they excepted my dad and the care and friendly atmosphere they provide they have been very responsive to our needs and as a family, we couldn’t be happier.

Firstly, I want to start by saying this building has a habit of not ordering medication on time. Several times now I have been told by my loved one that they didn't have their medication. I spoke to 2 different med techs at each time this happened and was told they were waiting for cycle fill. If a resident is running low on medication they should not have to wait until the next cycle fill to receive it. Second my loved one has had Falls during the night and I've been told there was nothing reported to morning staff, no call to family and this is just unprofessional. lastly, I'd like to add nepotism is big in this facility, Lots of mom and daughter or sibling workers. Atleast 4 that I am aware of and that's nearly the entire staff. Just be careful with who you trust when bringing your family and friends here.
