Living Community of St Joseph

I would not recommend this nursing home. My experience was extremely disappointing. The level of care, neglect and communication did not meet the standards I expected for a family who are trusting their staff with their loved ones. There were repeated concerns about responsiveness, cleanliness and overall attention to my mother's needs. Not to mention, she was left alone and fell, resulting in a broken pelvis in two places. Too often, questions went unanswered, and it felt like concerns were dismissed rather than addressed other than when it came time for them to collect their money. Families deserve transparency, compassion and confidence that their loved ones are receiving quality care, and I can honestly say we did NOT receive that. Our mother received poor care, neglect, rude staff, long wait times, cleanliness, etc. I hope this facility takes this feedback seriously and makes meaningful improvements. Until then, I will not recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for a safe, caring environment for their loved one.

Skilled nursing care is great but communication is not good. Was here for 15 days before anyone let us know what the “plan” was, i.e. how long I would be here or if there is an estimated ‘go home’ date. Finally had to insist on knowing something. No communication from whoever makes decisions. And on a side note the TV service is awful! The best channels do not work and it’s difficult to find a channel. For someone who has nothing else to do while waiting for promised physical therapy they should be able to at least enjoy TV. The night male tech does a terrific job! Name is Tyler, or Travis?? Sorry that his name slips my mind, he really deserves a shout out!
