My Dad fell on Saturday night and it took 45 minutes for anyone to respond. He had pushed his respond button four times and his wife had pushed hers four times. Finally, one person responded and she wasn't strong enough to get him up off the floor so she pushed him as he scooted back to his bedroom. This is totally unacceptable as we are paying $8,000 a month for them to live here. It would be better to live in an apt. and call 911.

I had my grandma at Silver Birch of Avondale and overall we had a great experience. The facility is clean, welcoming, and always felt like a comfortable place for her. One thing I loved was walking in and smelling the great food, it really gave it a homey feel. My grandma stayed active with the activities and enjoyed being part of the community. The staff was kind, patient, and truly caring, which gave our family peace of mind. While there were small areas that could improve, it never took away from the overall positive experience. I’m grateful for the care my grandma received and would definitely recommend this community.
