Laurel Cove Community

My dear friend of more than 26 years has now lived in Laurel Cove Memory Care for 2 1/2 years. If I need memory care, I hope this is where I live. This is how well the staff care for their residents. From when I first walked in the door, as my friend was seeking where to live, Laurel Cove felt like home and it has proven to be the best home ever. When you see Laurel Cove you will not see a glitzy place or what looks like a resort hotel. You see a smaller, homey real place where people have their feet on the ground and staff are honest and caring. Beauty does not give love. Laurel Cove provides care with love. By the way, you will find beauty there also, in many ways.

My mom has lived at Laurel Cove for approximately three years. She has been well cared-for and really doesn't want to be anywhere else. She has made some friends there - extra important at 95 when family and friends are fading away. Her husband and daughter have confidence that she is looked after and content.

My father has been living at Laurel Cove, and our experience has been solid and dependable. This is a mid range senior community — not the ultra luxury tier with massive buy ins — but it offers good care, a clean environment, and a steady routine. The building is well maintained, the carpets and common areas are kept clean, and the overall atmosphere feels orderly. Staff are kind, patient, and consistent in how they support residents, and that reliability matters. The food is adequate and predictable, with a standing menu of hamburgers, salads, and sandwiches available if the planned meal isn’t to someone’s taste. They also put real effort into holiday meals like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and the 4th of July, which adds something special. There are plenty of activities and outings, which help residents stay engaged. For the price point, Laurel Cove provides good value and a stable environment. It has been a supportive place for my father, and I appreciate the steady care he receives there

I have lived here for 6 months. After living in care homes from California to Florida and now Washington, I can truly state. Laurel Cove is the best! Kailey, Andrea, as well as everyone else I deal with are so gentle and caring. I have a paralyzed leg. I have finally been able to completely dress myself. The office and kitchen staff are also top notch. They take everyone's needs and wants into consideration as much as possible. We go shopping, out to lunches and picnics, and have lots of activities to choose from. The chef, Steve meets with residents weekly to go over menus. We make suggestions and he incorporates them into meals. A great place to live.

The Laurel Cove Community, which includes the full staff, are amazing. It’s a warm and friendly environment and I am so grateful we found this community for our mom and stepdad. They always have our folks best interest in the forefront of every decision that needs to be made.
