We continue to have instances of things going missing. One item was located and returned. I asked about being reimbursed for an item I had to pay to replace and my request was denied. Update: Lakeview has a new Director who was formerly the Director at Truewood by Merrill in Hoover. The facility is under new local leadership. The Director came from Brookdale in Homewood. The former Director and Sales Coordinator are now at Truewood by Merrill in Hoover.

Only giving this place that many stars because the Executive Director is really nice, the housekeeping Director Maintance Director and Activities Director are really nice as well and want to get involved with the residents. Other than that you have nothing but bad apples that work there.

The laundry service here is unacceptable . No one has been washing laundry since before Christmas. Dirty clothes are piling up . There are not enough washers and dryers anyway. I am sleeping on bed linen that needs washing. The other residents are unhappy with this situation also.The wonderful staff was told that laundry soap would not ordered until after the first of the year. Then how long will it take for delivery? have had to wash a few items out by hand in the bathroom and hang them in the shower. Something needs to be done now! It has been a pleasure to live here but the thought of all that dirty laundry piling up is overwhelming. Nadine Kerr
