Cate Leger
Lake Park is a fantastic skilled nursing facility. She had a family member here two years ago and the whole experience was so good that we chose it again when another elder in our family needed skilled nursing. Everyone is so kind, attentive and professional. In addition, they did a superb job in rehab.

I really appreciate they way they took care of my dad as he is not easy to deal with. They really went out of their way to accommodate to my dad's needs and they handled it like troops! Shout out to Lake Park Healthcare Center for all the work they do. My dad is home now but still talks about Lake Park and how grateful he is to have gone there for rehab.

My grandma fell down and broke her hip while grocery shopping in Chinatown Oakland a month ago. It was a traumatic experience for her and our family. The hospital recommended that she get some rehab at skilled nursing before going home. Lake Park came highly recommended so my family and I showed up to tour and was warmly greeted by Kathryn. She is extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The facility and the patient rooms is very spacious and clean! The staff is friendly and kind. My grandma speaks Cantonese and they have Cantonese speaking staff who can help bridge that language barrier which is a huge relief to me and my family who cannot always be there. We also toured their sister facility Oakland Heights which ended up being our 2nd choice but also an amazing facility (will put a separate review on that). With the help of the caring and amazing nursing and therapy team at Lake Park, my grandma will be discharging back home this week better and stronger than she was even before her accident!! If she needs skilled nursing again in the future, Lake Park is where we'd like her to go.
