Kinship Pointe at Wayne

My widowed mom did not want to leave her farmhouse until she had to because of health reasons. She moved into Kinship “for the winter” a year and a half ago. The staff was patient and understanding with her as she transitioned to her apartment. She was welcomed with open arms by the staff and they helped her at her own pace to adjust. The “winter” turned into 1.5 years. I can honestly say the quality of my mom’s life improved with being around people, eating right, going to activities and finding a purpose once again. She enjoyed the staff, her fellow residents and her apartment. She truly was happy. As her health declined the last month of her life, the staff was loving and supportive to us all. Mom was able to stay in her apartment with the support of Kinship, Home Instead and her family. Her quality of life was good even to the very end because of all of the support she received. Our family would recommend trying Kinship if you are hesitant. It was such a good experience for our mom and we are forever grateful for their care.

Kinship Pointe is an excellent facility. The care, for my Mom, was above and beyond. You pay for the service but you don’t pay for the kindness and consideration that the staff has for residents. That is something you can’t purchase. My Mom was very happy there. Danita Hanson

My mother has resided at Kinship Pointe Assisted Living for over six years. She has received exceptional care throughout her many health issues and enjoys each person who assists her. Each caring staff member calls her (and me) by name every time they see her. She is especially fond of the music performances by Dan Hansen and all the others who bring joy through their talents. The variety of activities, including exercise sessions, is exceptional, her apartment and clothes are always clean, the newly painted hallways look so good and Dennis' lively, caring interaction and transportation are a huge benefit for the residents and their families. I'm thankful Mom's sister lives there too so they can spend time together (98 and 96 years old). I highly recommend Kinship Pointe to everyone!

Family. It’s the best word to describe our experience. They treat my mom like a family member. The rooms have natural sunlight, the meals are very good, lots of activities to engage in, etc. Definitely would recommend!

Kinship Pointe - Wayne has been a wonderful community for my Mom. She has developed many friendships there and enjoys all the activities that are arranged. The staff is very responsive to her needs and it provides me great comfort to know she is being cared for in such a personal and professional way.
