KINGSPINE SENIOR CARE HOME

I accompanied a friend on several assisted living facilities tours and this one stood out in many areas. Jennifer Counihan’s love and enthusiasm and caring personality made us instantly feel welcome. The place looked spotless, the staff was wonderful and the residents appeared engaged and happy. The overall energy was loving and caring.

I visited Peninsula Pointe on Feb 12, during their Valentine’s Day Open House. The appetizers were plentiful, including a chocolate fountain! The staff and tour leader were hospitable. The units were lovely. Some with large walk-in closets! The ambiance was family feeling, not overwhelming. A welcoming place!

Peninsula Pointe was one of the most welcoming and friendly assisted living communities we visited in the PV area when my family was looking for care for one of our parents. While we ultimately decided on in-home care, Peninsula Pointe would have been our first choice for assisted living. Jennifer, Chris, and Julius are clearly very passionate about what they do and the residents we spoke to all said how much they love it there.

Last night's Home For The Holidays event at Peninsula Pointe was just amazing! Huge thank you to Chris Vargas for inviting me! I had the honor of being a sponsor...what I enjoyed most was spending time with the residents, seeing their happy faces, and the way the staff interacts with their residents is priceless. Truly a Home Sweet Home for so many. Thank you for offering such a wonderful residence in this Palos Verdes / South Bay Community. There is clearly a high level of commitment, engagement, and a cheerful environment with the whole staff and the people who live there.

Cogir’s Holiday Open House was fun and emblematic of their overall attention to detail to bring comfort and entertainment to their residents. We at Honeypour were ecstatic to be a part of last night’s festivities and honored to have been invited by the notably hospitable, Chris Vargas, who helped us with logistics to serve their community. Additionally, their magician “Jerry Does Magic” provided first class entertainment that had all the residents and myself giggling away!
