Individual Care of Texas operates two Type A Assisted Living Facilities in Abilene (39 beds) and Quinlan (100 beds), providing specialized care for individuals with cognitive challenges and mental illness since 1992. They offer a family-like atmosphere with 24/7 care from qualified staff, private bedrooms, and daily stimulating activities for those who can no longer live alone due to physical or mental impairments.

Staff are very patient with the residents The atmosphere is warm and inviting the food is good and they are very understanding of people‘s disabilities. I wasn’t always the best resident when I came in. I had a lot of struggles, but through their patience, kindness and willing to work with people so they can reach their fullest potential. I’ve changed into a much better person. I owe Individual Care Of Texas a lot, especially Rose the Director of the facility she never gave up on me. She always believed that I could be better in that attitude helped me become better.

This facility is like coming home. The homecooked meals are awesome and the staff is really caring and helpful. The residents always seem to be happy and content. It also offers a peaceful environment.
