Hyde Park Assisted Living Facility

The staff are excellent. The 24/7 service is awesome.

My family and I have been incredibly happy with hyde park alf. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and reassured. They’ve been patient, attentive, and truly seem to care about the residents as people, not just as tasks to manage.

I live here and it SUCKS ! Rent is feasible, aside from that, constantly skeleton crew, NO allowances for food allergies, ANY special diets (diabetes, salt restrictions, intestinal difficulties), food is edible at best anyway. Housekeeping is horrible. Unless you get Gloria, she really takes pride in her work and it shows. Only med techs here no assistance of any kind unless it's emergent,. Trying to leave. Just not a very happy place.

I refuse to give this facility 1 star. I was an Uber driver dropping a first time resident off and when I first stepped foot into the facility, it was disgusting. The residents were eating and the place was dirty and not up to good standards. The employees were rude nd seemed frustrated. The new resident did not have a wheel chair and when I asked for a wheel chair and to get him some assistance, I was told that they did not have spare wheel chairs and that I would have to wait due to them being short staff. I understand a business being short staff but it was how the employees approached the issue. It was very unprofessional. This facility needs to be knocked down and rebuilt. The cleaning closet that was outside was dirty and disgusting. The doors to the closet was broken. I am so sorry but I would not recommend this place to anyone at all. Something needs to be done.

They have caring staff - offers a lot of services. Every time I show up to the facility it smells good. And the food there looks really good. From a lot of ALF 's I have been too. Hyde Park is one of my favorites. I know my grandmother is being well taken care of.
