The staff and residents of Homestead at Hickory View, are extremely kind, hospitable and authentic. Whenever you come on to the property, you feel like you're going to a family member's house during the holidays. Which is something very comforting, when a community feels like home.

Very lovely retirement home! Managed very well. Lots of amenities, including activities, trips to different venues, outdoor spaces on premises to enjoy nature. Prices are very reasonable for different accommodations.Very impressed!

I was visiting my aunt last week and the staff were so stressed and overworked. Their supervisor Shelby was just sitting there and bossing them around the whole time, and then she started talking bad about a resident there. Half of the people looked like they just got done crying when they were bringing out food. If this is how Homestead treats its staff, I can only imagine how they treat their residents...

RIGHT NOW AT 11:00 PM, the Homestead at Hickory View has no certified medication assistant in their facility. If you have family that requires life saving medications, do not trust Spectrum Retirement Communities. The staff that is there has been ready to be certified for weeks and the facility refuses to schedule their certification. They’ll probably respond with something like “staffing issues, we try our hardest but some things are unavoidable” instead of fessing up to their mistakes. It’s now 11:31 PM and they still have no CMA
