I cannot say enough good things about Highgate Senior Living. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this is a place where people are truly cared for and valued. The environment is warm and welcoming, but what really stands out is the staff. Morgan was absolutely incredible. She is kind, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely compassionate. She took the time to answer every question, ease concerns, and make sure we felt supported and confident throughout the entire process. You can tell she truly cares about the residents and their families. It is rare to find a community that combines professionalism with such a personal touch. I would highly recommend Highgate to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be treated with dignity and respect.

The team of caregivers and support staff at Highgate are attentive and responsive to residents’ needs, and demonstrates a genuine committment to enriching the lives of their residents. As an RN who spends hours a week at Highgate seeing patients - and who has also had a beloved parent have to leave the home due to increased care needs - I can say without a doubt I would feel comfortable and confident in moving a loved one here. From the Executive Director to the Kitchen staff, I am yet to experience a negative interaction.

As an outside care provider, I’ve always had a great experience working with Highgate Senior Living. The staff are kind, professional, and truly dedicated to their residents. Communication is easy, and it’s clear that everyone there works well as a team. It’s a pleasure partnering with a community that consistently provides quality care and a supportive environment. My mom was at Highgate for almost 3 years before her passing in May 2025. Although she was hesitant in the beginning to move into assisted living, once she was able to have a tour she warmed up to the idea and couldn't wait to move in. Highgate's size, easy floor plan, prepared meals etc gave her back some of the confidence she had lost while trying to maintain her home and all the tasks of daily living after the passing of my step-dad. It gave my sisters and I great peace of mind to have her there too. We all live and work in Bellingham and most days one of us was stopping by for a visit so we were able to get to know the staff very well over the last few years. They really became an extension of the family as they cared for her in her final years and for that we are eternally grateful.
