If I could leave a no star I would. My grandparent lives here and we have been looking at other places to move her. Ever since a change of management it has been horrible. Connie was one of the best directors and she made the place feel like home for my grandmother. She was always interacting with the resident always doing things for the staff and making them feel proud to work at a great place. Now the new director( Elizabeth Duran) just sits in her office door closes and blinds pulled closed every day. My grandmother has went to her to address concerns about the new nurse( Elizabeth Verrett). The nurse is horrible talks down on the residents and her staff( I’ve witnessed this. She’s very rude and seems not to care about her job. My grandmother had a wound and it took her 4 days to finally come look at it. I will be contacting state about a few issues I have. I’ve tried to reach out to Crystal the lady form corporate but never get a email or call back. No resident nor staff have even seen anyone from corporate. We received a letter stating of the new ED and how the nurse has made a great “impact” already. Why do they have to lie like we can’t see or hear what’s going on? So many residents are at a loss of what to do. They feel hopeless. They moved the staff breakroom to a small closet it’s sad. They moved the nurse office to a even small closet barley one person can fit in there. And they moved the marketing sales person to a storage closet as well no windows no nothing. You have a couple bad caregivers that get away with neglect. Please if your loved one lives here please pay attention. Corporate does not care that has been a proven fact. I hope they can find a better nurse and ED that actually cares about this place. What’s going on OK all right. The nurse has even falsely put orders in the computer for my grandmother that the doctor did not I’ve called her doctor to confirm this. This place needs to do better

Heritage Place used to be a wonderful facility. However last fall, they changed management and most of the staff who made Heritage Place great are no longer there. The facility director, the person in charge of sales, the director of activities, and the head of housekeeping, all of whom had excellent work ethic, are no longer there. From what we have learned, no one has been hired to replace them. The facility had a licensed vocational nurse, but a registered nurse is needed. My mother moved in June 2025 and moved out in January 2026. During that time, she and I both witnessed the facility's decline. My mother gave 30 days notice that she would be moving out January 17, 2026 but they required her to pay rent for the full month of January, stating that she would receive a refund of $1,763 for the remaining part of the month within the next 30 days. It is now the end of May and my mother has yet to receive her refund. When we call, we are told that no one is in charge there who can sign her check. My mother has a friend who still lives there who tells her the situation there is worsening.

I recently had the pleasure of caring with a dear lady staying at Heritage Place in Fredericksburg, Tx.and I must say I was very impressed with the facility, but even more so with the people that work there. The facility was spotless, they kept activities going throughout each day and the staff from the sweetest lady at the front desk, Lisa Straight, the the sweet kitchen staff and even the housekeeping department made you feel special, cared about, looked after and willing to help with anything you ask of them. Great going girls, you’re truly a testimony to what caring is all about. SL Hubble

I am so very grateful for Heritage Place! My mother-in-law has resided there for over a year. The staff are so very kind and attentive and consistently go out of their way to support and encourage the residents. Before living here, I experienced several facilities while caring for my own parents. However, Heritage Place goes beyond the norm in advocating for its residents in all aspects: physical, social, and emotional.
