All best care living facilities should be shut down!! They do not care about their residents and just make fun of them and do everything but what they are asked to do. You’re being paid to make sure these people get what they need which isn’t much. And you guys can’t even do that at not one of the facilities. Very unprofessional and should be shut down, especially the one in port richey.

Do not send your family members here if you love them. The place is run down, the care is subpar, and there is no communication between the staff and the family. From my experience visiting my family member, the rooms are disgusting and look like they are cleaned every 6 months. The garbage in the resident room was overflowing. Food is horrible (example: chicken patty and cold fries for breakfast); no nutritional value. The COVID policies are extremely lacking. I witnessed staff walking around serving food without a mask when interacting with residents and I was told residents were not even provided with masks. It's so sad that they are still an operating business. Don't be fooled by the pictures online.

My sister was there. Their brochure shows a beautiful place, in person it is run down. Not nice at all. My sister & her roommate had their mattress & box spring on the floor. 1 Tv didn't work, the other did not get many channels. 1 small bureau to share. No indoor sitting area for residents other than their shared room. They do not make diabetic or low salt diets. Their brochure states they have activities & transport residents to Dr appts, outings & such. This is not true.

I just want to thank all of you at Heritage Manor. My cousin was living there earlier this year and Candace & the staff took great care of her. I was nervous about her staying in an ALF, but she did so well that she was able to move out on her own. Recently she needed help again and this was the first place I thought of! The heavy weight on my heart was lifted when Candace welcomed her back. It was a big relief. It would have been easier to place her here in St. Pete near me, but I just knew she would be better off at Heritage Manor. I spent a lot of time (three days a week) there visiting with my cousin and saw how Candace and the other staff interacted with the residents when they didn't even know I was there. They truly care about the residents. Now I'm not saying that everything goes perfectly anywhere, but the reality is that Candace really tries hard. She even came to St. Pete to evaluate my cousin in the hospital. I was worried that I couldn't make it there when my cousin arrived for her first stay there. Then I found out that Candace took her to Wal-Mart so she could pick up some personal items and clothes. I hope the owner knows how lucky he is to have Candace there! Not to mention the residents and their families. I just wish I had taken the time to do this the last time she was there.

They start out having you believe and really care. Our son would always like to walk. They told me not to worry someone is always watching him. NOT TRUE. he would leave..stay out..and or get lost. Several months ago he was admitted to a hospital due to heart problems. Candace Gray refuses to return his heart monotor..2 pair of glasses..wallet and medical/I'd cards. She promised not only me but to hospital staff. My husband has end stage kidney failure and is on oxygen. He cannot be left alone. We live almost 2 hours away. I finally reported them to the state. And yes. I said I would send them whatever they spent on postage. ITS A SAD WORLD WE LIVE IN IN
