HARVARD SQUARE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY

My mother needed to quickly transition from living at home to assisted living. After touring several facilities, we found Harvard Square to be head and shoulders above their competitors in terms of apartment style and size, wide-ranging amenities, engaged management and leadership, and compassionate, caring staff. Every aspect of Harvard Square operations reflects a well-run organization with consistent attention to detail and outcome-oriented performance. Food, nursing, assistance services, medication management, housekeeping, concierge, billing, therapy, and social activities are all reliable and consistent. Highly recommend Harvard Square as an assisted living provider. They are cost competitive in the market, yet superior in quality and breadth of service.

My mom has been at Harvard Square for two years now, transitioning from Independent Living to Assisted Living and now Memory Care. Throughout each stage, we have been so pleased with the care staff, the activities, and the overall facility. The team is compassionate, attentive, and truly invested in the residents’ well-being. We especially appreciate that she has been able to age in place with continuity of care. It gives our family great peace of mind knowing she is supported and cared for so thoughtfully.

I recently performed at Harvard Square Retirement & Memory Care and had a wonderful experience. Daisy Hernandez was incredibly helpful coordinating everything - from parking to setup - and the staff was welcoming and professional throughout. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a warm atmosphere. What really impressed me was the resident community. There was a large, enthusiastic crowd in attendance, with residents genuinely engaged and enjoying themselves. I don't often see residents dancing at my performances, but here, plenty were up and moving! The applause and compliments afterward were heartwarming. Harvard Square clearly invests in quality programming and creates an environment where residents are happy and engaged. I would absolutely perform here again and highly recommend this community.

Although we did not go with Harvard Square Assisted Living, (due to the distance being 2 times further away than the facility we decided to go with), Nischal my contact and tour guide did a fantastic job explaining their process, the facility and care. All of the residents I saw seemed to be very happy and engaging with the staff. They even have a Happy Hour music event on Thursdays and the residents were really excited to be going to this, as we finished the tour.

I have lived here at Harvard Square by Cogir for 1.5 years. The three things that made my decision to live here was 24 hour concierge, the deck looking out at Babi Yar Memorial Park, and the beautiful entrance to the front of Harvard's covered canape. The staff is Great here. They are always willing to help you when you need help. I lived at another Assistant Living Facility in Aurora Colorado. This community is the Hyatt Regency compared to the other facility I lived in.
