We moved Mom in, in June. She has just come from rehab. She is doing fantastic, no walker, exercising every day. She loves it here. The staff are fantastic. I would highly recommend Harmony Gardens.

Response from the owner

My parents have lived at Harmony Gardens for several years. It is home for them, with residence/friends to visit with. Nurse Susan is AMAZING, and the staff are very caring and extremely helpful. They have helped my parents with the things they now struggle with in life. When my Mom passed away, we could not have had more care and support to help us all through this difficult time. And the love they gave my Mom up until the end was amazing. As my Dad works to live on after Mom, they are all right by his side caring for him. We visit weekly and the staff is very good at letting us know if something is wrong. My siblings and I can not give them enough stars to show how much we appreciate everyone at Harmony Gardens.

Response from the owner

Harmony Gardens has been a wonderful home for my mom. The activities director keeps everyone engaged and smiling, and the staff is always kind and genuinely caring. Their nursing team consistently goes above and beyond. Residents are friendly and create a real sense of community, and the new exterior updates look great. We’re very grateful for Harmony Gardens and highly recommend it.

Response from the owner

UPDATE: It came to my attention recently that the administrator and nursing director, who were employed at Harmony Gardens during the time my mother resided there, are no longer with Harmony Gardens. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was sent an email by Americare asking for a review about Harmony Gardens in Warrensburg, MO. The opinions in this review are based upon my observations while visiting Mom approximately 10 hours per week at various hours of the day/night. Mom has lived here almost one year. Mom pays about $4,300 a month. Yes, a month. The facility is beautiful. The activities are age appropriate. The food is nutritious and varied. Many of the employees are kind and working diligently to make a difference. However, in my opinion, more staff need to be hired to facilitate prompt attention to resident's needs and concerns. I also think more training in behavioral intervention techniques when working with the elderly needs to be provided to staff, nursing director and the administrator. At Harmony Gardens, my opinion is that mom is viewed as a free-loading guest in someone else's house and needs to mind her manners, watch herself very carefully, and keep questions to herself.
