Harmony at Chantilly

Memory care is expensive, under staffed, and lacks consistent care. The few staff who are fantastic are doing the lions share of the work, which is causing them to burn out. The food is adequate, the facility is well cared for, and the residents seem to do well together. Once a patient needs more care (help feeding themselves), they’re unlikely to get the appropriate level of care due to being understaffed and some lazy caregivers. Staff who work weekends and at night are unresponsive and don’t provide quality care. Speaking with management has not improved the situation and was met with hints that we should seek a new facility.

I recently had the opportunity to connect with the team at Harmony Chantilly and had a great experience. Najla, the Sales Director, was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely took the time to understand what families are looking for. Ray, the Executive Director, was approachable, professional, and clearly takes pride in the community and the level of care being provided. The environment felt warm and well managed. It’s always reassuring to see leadership that is present and involved. I would absolutely feel comfortable recommending Harmony Chantilly to families looking for a supportive senior living community.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Harmony Chantilly! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine sense of care. The staff go above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable, respected, and truly at home. The community itself is beautifully maintained. Clean, inviting, and thoughtfully designed with residents’ needs in mind. There are always engaging activities and events that keep everyone active, social, and fulfilled. It’s clear that a lot of effort goes into creating a vibrant and supportive environment. What truly sets this community apart is the leadership. Najla, the Community Sales Director, is absolutely wonderful—kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. She takes the time to listen, answer questions, and ensure families feel confident and at ease. Ray, the Executive Director, is so impressive. His dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for residents and staff are evident in every aspect of the community. Together, they create an environment that is both welcoming and exceptionally. I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a safe, welcoming, and enriching place for their loved one. It truly feels like family here!

I am impressed with the staff's care and concern for the well being of the residents at Harmony. The daily schedule is full of activities, ranging from exercise class, to shopping trips, local outings, morning coffee gathering, happy hour, lectures and discussions, art class, choir, daily movies and more. The atmosphere is friendly, pleasant and joyful, including lovely seasonal decorations. The rent is much more reasonable than other senior facilities, and the apartments are spacious and are carpeted between tenants, and include a weekly room cleaning. The front office and concierge, housekeeping and maintenance staffs are professional, well trained and kind. I deducted one star for the less-than-ideal dining experience. The food is healthy and there are many alternate options, but some of the hot meals fall short of mom's home cooking. The service is inconsistent, with some servers providing excellent service and some in need of more and better training. Overall, I am very happy with my choice of Harmony over other local options. I anticipate a long and satisfying stay here.

This place is great! Beautiful on the inside and out with amazing views. The staff is very friendly. Najla and Latoya are amazing. If you are looking for senior living you need to check out this team.
