About
The Independence Village is an assisted living facility for residents with intellectual and/or physical disabilities, providing independent living and promoting community involvement. The privately funded non-profit residence cares for 24 residents ranging in age from 19 years and up, with individuals with Down Syndrome, developmental disabilities, or brain injury who need minimal assistance in daily living. The facility includes large suites with living rooms, spacious closets, bathrooms designed for the physically challenged, and community areas including a game room and entertainment area.
