Greenwich Farms at Warwick

Tread carefully if considering Greenwich Farms(GF). My father was a resident there for almost two years. He was treated pretty good overall, however, it did not go well at the end. On December 23, 2025 GF sent him to RI Hospital. While there the doctors said Hospice was the next step. He entered Hospice on December 23rd and passed away December 27th. On December 26, we cleaned out his room and notified the director that he was near the end of life. This was all done prior to 12/31/2025. In January, GF reached out requesting payment for the month of January 2026. I explained he passed and was paid in full through 12/31.2025. GF said they needed 30 days notice if moving out and therefore $11,000 needed to be paid for January. I said I do not think that should apply to this situation as GF sent him to the hospital and there was no way we could have predicted his passing and given 30 days notice. GF said they would consider that and get back to me. I never heard back and I assumed it was resolved. Well I was wrong. On July 14, I got a collection letter from an attorney looking for payment. Really?1? The Director never called me back, I just received a collection letter. In my opinion this is nothing more than a money grab! $11K for never living there in January! Plus I know for a fact that his room was occupied in January by another person. Talk about double dipping! GF is a business and there goal is to make money. I am in the process of getting my attorney involved and notifying the RI AG's office of my experience and GF's policies. Word to the wise...be careful selecting a long term care facility for your loved one.

People that care

The care givers and staff at Greenwich Farms are very warm, friendly engaging and truly care for the residents here. It was such a relief knowing that my mom is in such great care. The place feels like home for her. The staff are very hands on experienced and very communicative with anything and everything along the way.

After touring numerous communities recently I felt like I was at a dead end, that’s till Courtney took my call! She was so kind and understanding of my situation and concerns and made me feel like family! Was a beautiful place and when the time is right soon it’s her I’ll be calling!

My mom who's a young 92 moved in a few months ago after a TERRIBLE experience at another assisted living facility on Cherry Hill Rd. She went from a dirty, unkept facility to a beautiful facility with super kind staff, super clean areas and amazing food. She's just starting to meet new friends and participate in activities. Our family highly recommends Greenwich Fars!
