Granite Gate Senior Living

I think I may have posted this to the wrong apartment complex bc the one I have been staying in does not offer assisted living?! Canyon Run which has changed its name to Granite Creek has been a great place to stay on subsidized senior rents but now they are raising the rents from the once $650/mo that I paid when I first moved in three years ago to the now $849/mo to the near future $1450/mo for a 1 bdrm, which I will not be able to afford. It is still one of cheaper and nicer places to stay in Prescott. I will be homeless once the rent goes up so I am desperately looking for another senior subsidized apartment to move into. Everybody has a long waiting list and I just may be out of luck. But if you can afford the higher rents it is a great place to stay!

I live at Granite Gate. Everybody here is nice and go out of their way to help you. They are polite. I couldn't ask for better surroundings. The food is mostly good, but always enough to eat. There are a few staff members that stand out like Dakota and Tammy who have been especially friendly and helpful.

I have a friend at Granite Gate and visit often and am always impressed. It’s warm, welcoming and very clean. Residents and staff seem so happy and there is always a positive atmosphere. It has a resort style feeling but still feels homey. When my time comes, I know where I’ll be going!

My mom, 89 years old, with limited mobility, moved in December 18th and she is very happy there. The food is remarkable, the place is elegant, the facility has a lot of activities, both inside and off premises. The staff is very kind and attentive. The residents are friendly and welcoming. It's located in the beautiful Granite Hills in Prescott. I feel she is very secure there. It is pricy, but competitively, and it's worth it.
