My mother, Hazel Lance, was a resident of Governor's Bend until she passed. She was never treated like a patient but was always treated like she was part of their family. That is where she wanted to be and I had great peace of mind knowing that she was always cared for by a loving and caring staff. Kimberly and Melissa were her two favorites.

I would recommend them to anyone looking. The staff is amazing, and always super friendly. They always have activities going on, and the food is always top quality!

This is not a memory care facility! I moved my mother here on August 01, 2024 and moved her out 2 months later. Cannot advise on the assisted living portion of the facility , however the memory care should not exist. The facility does not have the skilled personnel to handle dementia patients. A local physician informed me of this unfortunately after I moved my mother in. The executive director was very difficult to reach when there were concerns and because of his lack of communication with me and poor decisions on treatment for my mother she was placed in a very serious health compromise.
