After a significantly debilitating stroke, two weeks at SHMC and 2 stays at St Luke’s, my Mother has been here at Cascadia for 5 months and is very happy with the care & help she’s receiving & our family is as well. If something is not working well or is unsatisfactory, at ANY time, the issue is addressed immediately & remediated. Changing living arrangements is very difficult for people & no one is a mind reader for your needs but Cascadia staff make EVERY effort to meet you medically & physically right where you are & help improvement happen daily. Their staff is professional, caring & invested in your loved one - from laundry to nursing to Admin staff. The cleanliness is top notch. Could the food be a bit better? Yes - but they’re working on it & hear you when your needs are specific to diet etc. We would all make this choice again.

I had a partial open heart surgery and a week later I was accepted here at the Skilled Nursing Facility. The place is very clean. The workers were all very friendly and made sure I was comfortable. The one thing that shocked me was that the food was very good. It was never just slopped on the plate. The rooms are nice & roomy and you don't have to share a room. I would give this place a 10 star rating but there is one thing that absolutely needs to be taken care of ASAP. The windows are so old with just one pane that the cold air just comes right through. When the wind is blowing you can feel the cold air come in. So definitely need to either insulate the windows or get them updated. So.my rating is 9 stars. I did forget to mention that I am a patient in here right now.
