GLEN PARK AT OJAI

I visit this facility once a month to provide music therapy for the residents. The staff engages the residents with compassion and patience for their individual needs. Nice job Glen Park!!!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is an absolute disgrace to what should be a compassionate and safe environment for the elderly. From day one, the administrators seemed indifferent towards their staff and overworked. Calls for assistance were ignored for hours. Medications were missed or administered incorrectly. Basic hygiene was completely neglected — her room often smelled like urine, trash wasn’t taken out, and we once found spoiled food still on her tray from two days prior. The food was atrocious — unidentifiable mush served cold, with no regard for dietary needs or preferences. My mom, who already struggles to eat, lost nearly 10 pounds in a matter of weeks. We raised concerns multiple times with management, who gave us nothing but rehearsed excuses and empty promises. No follow-up. No change. This place should be investigated for neglect. It’s heartbreaking to think of the vulnerable residents here with no one to advocate for them. DO NOT send your loved ones here. They deserve better. They also only got soup one night for dinner. If I could name the Cook who poorly does her job I would.

Glen Park Has some of the best staff around! The environment is very welcoming. The care given to residents is warm and caring. The facility is newly renovated and feels very Homey. It has Spacious, modern and light filled rooms, a beautiful courtyard, and comfy living spaces for residents to enjoy. UPDATE. Wrote this nice review because we were all bribed by the management at the time to write a great review. We got gift cards after showing him our “nice” review, Regardless of what we really thought of the facility. I won’t speak ill of the place because there are some great people that work there but all I can say is, If someone from the community asked me for my opinion on an assisted living facility for their loved one, Glen park would be very low on my list. My developmentally disbled older sister, Julia, has been calling Glen Park her home for the past ten years and she has loved it from day one. In fact, on the day of her first visit she proclaimed, "I love it here," which was music to the ears of her family.The staff has always been considerate and caring of Julia's needs and concerns, and very respectful of her as a person, because Julie has a very prideful and distinctive personality. All in all, we recommend Glen Park very highly.

Glen Park of Ojai has amazing compassionate and hardworking staff. The facility is newly renovated and very welcoming. It has a home like setting, very spacious and activities that keep our residents busy and entertained.
