It's a nicely done renovation that has that (at home feel) about it. Our dad has been here for the last 3 years, and I can honestly say that it's been the best thing thats happened to him and us in a long, hard and difficult journey. Marcelia (I call her the den mother), and her crew of handpicked ladies have restored my faith in the possibility of real love, compassion, and care for the ones they're caring for. It shows in what they do and how they do it. It also shows in the residents reciprocating that back to them. Actions always speak louder than words. I have personally witnessed the above and beyond selfless sacrifice of Marcelia, just to make sure that her workers and or her residents are taken care of, like they were her own, but when you ask her about it she downplays her part. This place and these women are worth their weight in gold. They have truly helped to make an unbearable situation more bearable, and I thank all of you for that, from the bottom of my heart. We had our mother there 8 months but decided to move her out in Spring '24 because of frequent staff turnover and some safety issues. Positives are that it is a small facility (house) so it is easier to get to know other residents. However the smaller size means not much common space to hang out (particularly in cold weather) and less quantity and quality of entertainment options for residents. We also found food choices and quality tend to be better in the larger facility we moved her to. Staff were generally fine but overworked and seemed to burn out and move on constantly.

Beautifully renovated home on the north west side of town where there are fewer options. Wes, the Admin. Designee seems to really care, and puts his heart into the work of managing this residential assisted living home and caring for it's community members.
