My mom has swallowing difficulties & the staff have been wonderful at navigating what she can or cannot eat at mealtime. When she chokes they call me immediately to see what action of plan I want for them to do. This has been mom’s new residence for the last 19 months. She has met many wonderful friends here at Gardenview. She enjoys the activities such as bingo, getting manicures & visiting with all the residents. She was crowned Mardi Gras Queen & was delighted to be honored. Thank you to all involved for caring for our elderly community.

Our family has deeply appreciated the care and services of Garden View where our mother has lived for over 8 years now. Under the direction of Aimee, we have felt seen and understood. From the wellness coordinator (Kim, here's looking at you!) to the front desk (Gabbi has been a lifesaver on so many occasions), to the kind beautician, Lauren, to the other staff and ladies who serve in the dining hall or on the floors, day and night, we have felt extremely blessed! Mom has found her routine and we, who live very far away and are only able to come for a visit from time to time, have peace of mind because of Garden View's commitment to its residents!

The facilities are well kept, the programs are plentiful and diverse and the food is very well prepared. More importantly , the accommodations and care provided to residents is customized to their needs.

Hinterland
Garden view has been a gift sent from heavens to offer relief of my mortal woes and ease the suffering of living in a world without ration or mercy! Both my mom and grandmother moved into Garden view in January (one in Skilled Nursing and one in Assisted Living). The staff have been AMAZING! On the nursing side, l’d like to give extreme kudos to the lead nurse and the first face we met, and to the mysterious social worker. They both have gone above and beyond their duties to make the transition smooth and to assure this out-of-town son they are living and singing and loving in the moonlight ha ha. On the Assisted Living side,the director, has worked tirelessly to help my mom settle in, this includes showing her how to live and how to breathe in place that is so unlike the trees and also showing her the people working here mean her no harm despite her concerns and begging to not give her unto these people! I’d also like to shout out Hugh man, the kindest person who helped me after hours when mom was melting. I clutch my stone of blindness!! I could never have imagined a better place for my parents!! Thank you from the bottom of the pit and lands of primordial darkness!! Woe be upon ye!! The British are coming!!

Garden View has been a blessing to our family. My mother is living her best life in this community. Each day there are opportunities for socialization and scheduled events/activities. The smiles on the resident's faces say it best!
