My siblings and I feel so lucky that we found the Ridges. Our mom & dad moved into the (Garden) Ridges over a year ago. From the moment they arrived the staff could not have been kinder and more welcoming. In addition to being such a beautiful property, it is run with warmth and efficiency. We have never worried for a moment about our parent's quality of care or safety. The staff are stellar - George, Julia, Melissa and Carrie have continually gone out of their way to communicate and make adjustments to our parents care as needed. Additionally, housekeeping, maintenance and the front desk staff are positive, helpful and kind. When dad passed away last August we were worried about mom being on her own. However, the compassion & attention from the staff and management was truly heartwarming and has made the adjustment much smoother than we could have imagined. The Ridges provides wonderful restaurant style dining, an ever-changing menu, tons of activities, outings and opportunities to socialize. Throughout the year it is always decorated so festively for the various holidays. I cannot recommend the Ridges enough.

The employees and Management here are so kind, compassionate and caring. This review is based on all staff including our Director. Our Director, George, addressed the residents at a recent Town Hall meeting. He made me and others I'm sure feel appreciated and George put a smile on so many faces. I am grateful and feel appreciated.

The place is very nice and staff is wonderful. I'd like to give it 5 stars but the food is very disappointing. My folks have been there over a year now and for the first 9 months the food had been good. But in the last 4 months the meats are tough and lack taste. Their Christmas meal was supposed to be special turned out to be a disappointment. The meat was cold and tough. Please work on your food quality.

I can't tell you the number of times I've been served COLD food! And watched my grandpa and others be served cold food too. These people pay good money to live here and have hot meals, absolutely not acceptable. I would give this place 5 stars if it weren't for the consistent cold food which should always be served hot because everything else about this place is great. Please people of amethyst, quit serving these seniors cold food, it's absolutely not okay...don't lie to them and say, "it's cooking" after waiting 30-40min only to serve cold food!!! It's gotta come to an end.

My Mother in law lives here and if possible, I would recommend this place with some comments. The Staff was great, however, the facilities needs some upkeep. One of the RN's didn't use gloves when doing a wound check. All the other's did wear gloves. The carpets need cleaning or replaced-some were stained. The windows needed to be washed. The paint needs to be kept up in the hallways. That's a tough one since most have electric scooters which beat up the corners and walls. My MIL's place had one part of a cabinet door off and the counter had been repair on the corners in a less than desirable manner. I ate 3 meals there and the food could use some improvement as well. The hamburger I had was like dry leather. My spinach salad was a salad less the spinach. Other meals were okay. The Staff is what makes this place, but it just be nicer if there were little improvements. I am recommending it, but not giving it 5 stars. After all, the care is what is most important.
