I witnessed the cook drop some hamburgers on to the floor then serve it to the clients....just sad...

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We take all allegations regarding food safety and resident care very seriously and have thoroughly reviewed your comments. At this time, we do not recognize your name as a current or former employee, resident, family member, or visitor associated with our community. Additionally, our kitchen is a closed working area that is not accessible or visible to the public during food preparation. Unless an individual was employed within our dietary department or authorized to be in the kitchen, meal preparation and handling would not be observable. Our dietary team follows established food safety standards and procedures designed to protect the health and wellbeing of our residents. If you have specific information regarding the date, time, or individuals involved in this alleged incident, we encourage you to contact our management team directly so that we may investigate the matter appropriately. Providing safe, quality meals and maintaining the trust of our residents and families remains one of our highest priorities.

This place must be having a severe staffing problem. Facilities seem nice but my wife is bed ridden and cannot take care of herself. I was assured they would but so far many meals are late, cold or just do not show up. Getting a person to change her has become almost impossible. They need to make sure that those people needing additional help are taken care of and quit making excuses. I am now looking to make a change and quit listening to the excuses. In the last few weeks Garden Estates has made a good move to address our issues. Like most adult care facilities they remain short handed but for now they have made a better attempt to see that meals are being delivered on time and general care has improved. For now things have improved and they continue to improve services.

I moved here with my husband and when he passed I stayed. I have been loved and supported every step of my journey here. I have friends, a wonderful house keeper, dining when I chose to eat here. I think your experience here requires your love for the people we call family. I’ve found such sweet relationships with table mates, concerges,, activity director and our hero, Abel Bentancourt.
